Besides that, you don't necessarily have to make it look weird. An Earthship is always going to have a certain look, but no one said you have to be weird. If anything, I'm kind of getting tired of "cookie cutter" houses. But there is no harm in it, if that's what you prefer.

Vertical windows can normalize it even more so. However,colder climates may not support their use.
